Separalo may fit if you work independently or with a small team, your clients already know where to find you, and you need them to choose a service and a time. Your page shows prices and durations, and online bookings appear in the same calendar as appointments you arrange in person.
This comparison is written by the Separalo team. Our plan costs USD $7.99 per month and includes up to two businesses with three team members each. Before switching, check whether you also need your current software to handle payments, retail products, packages or treatment records.

The three-person totals are subscription calculations before tax, card processing and optional features. Vagaro charges $10 for each additional calendar up to seven licenses; further employees can then be added without another calendar charge. Separalo includes the owner and up to three additional team members per business.

Check Vagaro's features and additional charges
Separalo sends email notifications, not SMS. It also does not include inventory, payroll, package balances, capacity-based classes or automatic external-calendar sync. If you use those capabilities each week, keep a solution that covers them and compare the cost of the whole setup.

For a small studio, start with services your clients can tell apart. A color consultation and a haircut take different amounts of time. For nails, distinguish a fresh application from removal plus a new application. Adapt the examples to your own work before sharing the link.

- Assign services and working hours to each person. Add their breaks and appointments you have already arranged.
- Set the business's buffer after appointments. Each service keeps its own duration; the buffer does not vary independently by service.
- Open the page as a client would and review available times. After email verification, a booking is confirmed or awaits your approval according to your settings.
- Review the day-before email reminder and the rules for changing an appointment through its private link.
Decide what to keep and what to move
Before replacing your Vagaro link, check future appointments, deposits already collected, outstanding packages and information you need to retain. Separalo does not automatically import that data from Vagaro or transfer its balances.
Choose a date to start accepting new bookings through one system. Add the appointments needed to occupy your availability in Separalo and review the whole team's hours before updating your website, profiles and printed codes. Keep a way to handle changes to older bookings.
