How to reduce no-shows
1. Confirm and remind by email
Separalo can send the confirmation and an email reminder about 24 hours ahead when you turn on “24-hour reminder.” It does not send automatic WhatsApp or SMS.
2. Leave room to reschedule
A clear cancellation notice and the “Manage my booking” link let clients tell you in time. You can then offer that slot to someone else.
3. Add your own message when needed
You send WhatsApp and SMS yourself with wording from the free generator; Separalo does not automate those channels.
No-show cost questions
How is the total calculated?
We multiply appointments per week × no-show rate × ticket price × 52 weeks. The month is that yearly total divided by 12. Example: 40 appointments, a 10% no-show rate and $50 add up to about $867 a month.
How do I reduce no-shows with Separalo?
Turn on the day-before email reminder and let clients reschedule from their private link within your notice window. Separalo does not collect deposits or send automatic WhatsApp or SMS.
Where does the preventable percentage come from?
It is an assumption you choose. It starts at 25% so you can see an example of what email reminders might save. Change it to match your business.
Are email reminders enough to cut no-shows?
They help when a client forgot and reads email. They do not replace a deposit (Separalo does not collect deposits) or a message you send yourself by WhatsApp or SMS.
Do I need a Separalo account?
No. The calculator is free and runs in your browser. Separalo's booking software has a separate subscription with a free trial.
Does it count the time I lose?
No. It only counts the price of the missed appointment. If you could have sold that slot to another client or paid for supplies, the real loss is higher.
