Service price calculator
Free barber and salon service price calculator: product cost, time, hourly target and overhead. USD/MXN/COP/ARS. No signup.
Add supply cost, the value of your time (minutes ÷ 60 × your hourly target), and a per-appointment overhead amount. The result is a suggested price to publish on your menu.
- Suggested price
- $43
- Cost of your time
- $30
- Product + overhead
- $13
Formula: product + (minutes ÷ 60 × hourly target) + overhead. At 45 minutes, labor is $30. This is a guide; adjust for your local market.
How to use the result
1. Use the real product cost
Include only what you spend on that service (color, gel, blades). If a bottle covers several appointments, prorate it.
2. Be honest about time
Enter the full length you block on the calendar, not an ideal time. A fill and a full set do not take the same minutes.
3. Publish the price on your booking page
When you have the amount, add it in Separalo with the duration so clients see it before they pick a time.
Service price questions
How is the suggested price calculated?
We add product cost + (minutes ÷ 60 × hourly target) + overhead per service. Example: 8 product, 45 minutes, 40 per hour and 5 overhead → 8 + 30 + 5 = 43.
Is this the final price I should charge?
It is a guide. Adjust for your area, demand, and nearby shops. Separalo only displays the price you publish; it does not charge the client.
Do I need a Separalo account?
No. The calculator is free and runs in your browser. Separalo’s booking software has a separate subscription with a free trial.
Does it include tax or card fees?
No. If you take cards or owe sales tax or VAT, add those separately to the price you publish.
